Every country has there own traditional and national dance. How it began and why it differs from style in different countries is another question.

IRELAND
Irelands traditional form of dance is Irish Dancing. it began when the Druids came to Ireland using dance as a religious ritual. The Celts then arrived and brought there own form of folk dances. When christianity spread to Ireland the Pagans also added to the Irish style of Dancing. In the mid-sixteenth century dancing in partners beacme very popular and then group dances were developed. Many of these new forms had travelled English invaders and nowadays Irish Dancing has developed into a national and worldwide form of dance.
